I get floods of promos, but the ones I always open are from Carol LeFlufy at Eye Forward, especially when they are for Frank Ockenfels. Frank recently updated images in his 2Boys gallery, an ongoing series with his two sons. I worked with Frank several times at FHM magazine and was continually inspired by his ability to still be able to play and be artistic.

Over the past year, I worked on a photo research project seeking out and securing pictures from the grunge era for author, Mark Yarm.
I collaborated with photographers, managers, band members, etc. to hunt down specific moments or talent and never-before-published images in their film archives. The organization of their archives and their willingness to hunt through film for exclusive pictures for the book was remarkable. I mainly work in digital formats now so it was refreshing to get back to looking at film and contact sheets again.
Everybody Loves Our Town: An Oral History of Grunge will be published by Crown Archetype on September 6, 2011. Available on Amazon.
