Strategy Over Hype: Google Cloud GenAI Certification

I recently completed the Google Cloud Generative AI Leader Professional Certification a deep dive into the strategy and organizational frameworks required to make AI actually work for a business. The process reinforced a critical reality: AI strategy has to be business-first, not tech-first—it’s about solving for goals rather than adopting tools for their own sake.

I’m currently applying this "strategy-over-hype" approach to the AI-first production initiative I’m leading. In moving toward production-grade AI, the real challenge isn’t just the technology; it’s building the operational guardrails and workflows that ensure these tools deliver consistent, measurable value.
